Training a German Shepherd can sometimes be easy, and other times very hard. It depends on your training techneques, and how you go around training your German Shepherd. However, I’m going to let you in on a few tips which will hopefully make training your dog a lot easier!

All the tips I will let in on below have been taught to me by this German Shepherd training guide.

Consider Your Dogs Inteligence

One of the biggest mistakes which is made by people when trying to train their German Shepherd is when they completely misundrstand the dogs intligence. A dog is not as smart as a human, and can only take in so much. You must not expect it to be able to do anything spectacular, or amazing in any short period of time. Don’t be expecting your dog to be a mini day to day helper. It’s physically not possible for a dog, and will only be able to help you with basic tasks, or simple commands.

Rewards

One of the very best aids to helping you train a German Shepherd, is to reward it after it sucessfully compltes one of your commands. Dogs understand that if they receive something good after doing something, they will know they completed something good. A dog will then hopefully repeat this action again on command. It’s always a good idea to give a small dog treat as a reward. Make sure the reward is something small, and edible in a short period of time. I have also had experinces with using something such as a toy or a ball as a reward, but it’s never returned as good results as a edible reward has. Only even reward your pet when it has actually done something really good, don’t give rewards just to be nice!

Paitence is Golden!

Very rarley will you be able to teach a German Shepherd a command once, and it will do it forever after. It takes paitence, and time to successfully teach a German Shpherd a method or command. You should try a training session similar to a previous one many times before you give up. Many dog trainers give up after one attempt, and this is why they fail at most methods of training their dog something. It can take anything from days to months for your dog to successfully learn something you are trying to train it.

These are only some basic aids to helping you train a German Shepherd. You will find many more great training methods and ideas on this Dog Training Website.

Ive now owned my German Shepherd for 3 years, and ever since I’ve had it, I’ve been training it as much as possible. There are several methods which I had been using at first, but none were really effective. Supposedly, German Shepherds are one of the easiest dogs to train, however it didn’t really turn out that way for me a first.

Although there were several methods for training a German Shepherd that did work, some of the most advanced ones I really wanted most did not. It wasn’t until a friend recommended me to a website which offers very unique methods for training a German Shepherd that my dog really did start to complete what I was trying to achieve. Even until now, I am still learning more methods to teach my dog which are really effective!

Click here for the methods which really helped me!

The methods which where provided to me by using that website were absolutely great! Nowhere had I seen any methods which were the same on the internet which has worked just as much as these methods did. Although the methods cost me a little bit of money, it was most definitely worth it. My German Shepherd now does what I tell it at home, obeys my orders when we go on walks, and watches the house for me when I am not home. My pet dog is great!

I strongly suggest you have a look at the website I told you about earlier. It will make your relationship between you and your German Shepherd (or any other dog in that case!) a lot better, and you will feel a lot closer to it. Some of the methods it teaches you and your dog are simply astonishing, and will certainly help you train your dog without having to pay for a professional dog trainer.
